What is the best method for painting the exterior of a house with asbestos siding?
We are currently in the middle of closing on a house and ideas for updating the house have come up. The siding is asbestos and the current paint job has some chips. Without disturbing the asbestos and without residing the entire house, does anyone have any tips for ensuring a good paint job for this situation?
BEFORE YOU CLOSE HAVE THEM REMOVE THE ASBESTOS! Asbestos is extremely dangerous when if begins to break down, it’s already painted, and the paint is beginning to chip, you have no idea what’s under there. You owe it to yourself to go the extra mile and do this right.
