Native Americans…?
i am looking for a Native American, hopefully someone i can meet with (i live in NE PA) make a drawing for me that represents bow hunting. i would like it in the form of a band that i will have tattooed around my right bicep. is there anyone out there that can do this for me, or knows of a Native American artist that i may contact? thank you.
best advice, look for a “Pow Wow” in your area, and ask around there. I’m sure you’ll find somebody willing to do this for you.
Keep in mind tattoo is a NEW thing for us, any patterns pre tattoo were painted on.
They MIGHT ask you what tribe your from for some of us it DOES make a difference.

The goals of the New Negro Movement that became known as the Harlem Renaissance were to create a public platform to showcase African American contributions to art and literature in opposition to the racist stereotypes that prevailed at the time. The Emergence of the Harlem Renaissance
During the 1920s and into the 1930s, African American literature flourished during the Harlem Renaissance. Known mostly for the emergence of great literature by black authors, the Harlem Renaissance, also known as the New Negro Movement, was a result of several factors. Before the Renaissance, thousands of blacks migrated from the South to the Northern industrial cities as more employment opportunities became available during World War I.
