What’s the best way to choose a Martial Art to study?
I know there are many options and I just did an “intro” class at a local dojo and they want to enroll me for a year of classes at a monthly rate for “all you can eat.”
It seemed like a nice place, lots of students, clean, lots of mats (4 teaching areas) but I don’t want to “marry” a style before I find out that I resonate with it. I’m interested in developing grace, discipline and getting back to my “prime” shape.
you can find a dojo that does not require a contract. If they have more than a few black belts, that is not a good sign. If they sell black belt contracts that is not good. If there are children wearing black belts, that is not good. The most important thing is the instructor. If you can find a good instructor(most are poorly trained) that teaches skills rather than pushing belt testing, you have found something good.

What color frames should I use to for displaying artwork?
I have a lot of personal artwork that I would like to frame and use to cover a very large wall. Do the frames need to be the same color? Would it look better to use different kinds/colors of frames?
I like frames to match if they are all on the same wall. They don’t have to be exactly the same, but all wood or all metal or all black looks best to me. Match them to the other neutrals in the room like lamps (gold or silver) or wood tones.

My mother recently bought an E.Garin seascape oil painting, how can I tell if it’s original?
It’s signed by E. Garin. The painting is framed with wood and has no glass over the canvas. It has the price tag on the back from the 40 year ago purchase in New York. I see no date or name of the painting. I want to know how to tell if it is original and can I get some good money for it.

how can I calm Squeeky bed?
