Any Jazz tunes that can actually get you cry happily? For serious jazz aficionados…?
Soft spot here. Yeah, I know it sounds weird, but yeah. As far as jazz, John Coltrane, Clifford Brown, Charlie Parker, and Art Tatum are the only ones who can jerk a tear out of me. I guess it’s their ballads, which makes sense. Any jazz greats that can get you shedding a tear or two on occasion?

i want to learn how to play the violin?
I’ve been wanting to play the violin since i was little. i really loved to hear violin music. but my parents didn’t have enough money to send me to have lessons. however my brother had drum AND guitar lessons. i argued with i my parents on this but they said i should focus on my art. I don’t want to sound conceited but i am supposed to be talented in art. Art is good but i want to play violin lessons so bad. Should i argue with my parents to what i want to do or what they want me to do?
I am a violinist and I absolutely love it! It is extremely difficult to play, in a matter of fact, it’s considered the hardest instrument in the orchestra to play. After chapped fingers and quaking hands, its a thrilling reward to be able to play incredible things.
With you parents, you should continue to attempt to convince them on this matter. By all means, they pay for your brother’s drums AND guitar?! Couldn’t you just convince them to drop one of them, drop the one he doesn’t like as much and replace with violin. It’s not them that decides your future, it’s you. They have a critical impact on it, such as paying for the lessons, though. You should indefinitely debate over what you want. They are the authoritives, so what they say goes, but you CAN convince them. They shouldn’t be the ones saying what you like, or what you believe in. It’s your choice, and your choice ALONE! If they want you to do art so badly, then ask them a simple question, but try not to offend them: If you love art SO much, then how come you don’t do it? That’s a simple question that can hit them pretty hard, which might result in them immediately chaning their minds, or perhaps over time. Think about it, and I hope this helps you.
