Is R & B bad for Christians?
I love music and artist Chris Brown like him. I recently gave my life to Christ and I want to live right by his word. I really do not know if I should cut all ties with secular music or not! I do not like music with swearing or messages sin if thats the issue, but the music is not like that! Please, If you go just answer my question, shock, please keep it to yourself. Not to sound mean, ut I'm really tryin adlut young to live the Christian life right. No shortcuts or anything, I take my cross with Christ, asking what I must give, not what I can keep! So I need to know if I need to give R & B now! Thank you and God bless you all! 
Whatever you hear, read, or even think, feeds your mind / soul. So If you feed on worldly things, it will give you a carnal mind. The carnal mind is hostile to Christ and your soul. In order to grow in Christ, you must apply for a mind spiritual. The only way to achieve this is to eat things of the Spirit = the true Word of God, praise God in song, singing yourselves in the hymns and chanting to God. world music, that beat, that spirit is not of God and will lead you in the wrong direction. However, those do not try to become spiritual, grow in Christ, will not see this as necessary. But if you want to become a strong and faithful Christian, you must surrender to such things, as they war against the soul. Seek spiritual things. Feed only on the things of God. is God? I do not think so. May God bless you take love for these things.
